A boy band lover's dream come true

What could be better than a summer tour with NKOTB? A summer tour with NKOTB and BSB! Yep, you heard me. The New Kids on the Block are teaming up with The Back Street Boys for a summer tour series that is sure to not disappoint! There have been plenty of hints from the boys of the bands in the last week or so but the official announcement came yesterday from Ryan Seacrest on Facebook that the two bands would be joining in a series of summer shows.



Last year at Radio City Music Hall, the New Kids surprised their fans with a guest appearance by Back Street Boys performing their hit song "I Want It That Way." The fans went wild. That was the first clue that there might be something on the horizon.

Yesterday on Twitter, Donnie Wahlberg posted this statement "This TOUR is not our tour its- "OUR TOUR"- Both bands & both groups of fans. Doing what we do. How we do. We can do this. We will do this." He also stated "And yes- We're still TWO bands not one & yes there will be guests & yes you will be treated the way the greatest fans in the world deserve!!" What an amazing guy. I believe him when he says we will all get the treatment we deserve.

And as if this exciting news wasn't enough, I Love All Access (ILAA) will be part of the fun too. They have posted on their home page that there will be Meet & Greet opportunities, photo ops, and pre-show parties as well.

Not sure how I'm going to get this one by my husband being that he's nowhere near a Boy Band fan but I'm thinking that a trip to the cities with Stacey and Janelle, the girls from our other favorite New Kids blog, NKOTB Stalkerfest is in order. We will have to wait for now to see how this whole thing plays out so I will keep it on the DL.
