Cruise Payments

As a past cruiser, I have been appointed to share some of my expertise in the field of Crusin' with the New Kids.

As the cruise is fast approaching, you may be worried about a few small details, the first being the $500 payment, scheduled yesterday. I've seen a few posts on the NKOTB site stating that they haven't received an email confirmation yet or that the money hasn't been taken from their account yet. No worries on this. Rose Tours has said that it could take up until Wednesday (the 3rd) to process all the payments and get them cleared out. You may or may not receive a confirmation. My payment has been debited from my credit card but it's still a pending transaction.

So, if you haven't heard anything by Thursday and your payment is still not deducted from your credit card, you will need to contact Jeannie at Rose Tours to find out why. But give it time, she's a busy lady with lots on her plate right now with all of us BSC Blockheads!!!

On another note, I have seen on the NKOTB forum that people were double charged payments. This IS a possibility and here is the reason why. According to Rose Tours, you are more than welcome to make extra payments to get your cruise paid off quicker; however, know that it is possible that on the scheduled day of the next payment, they may take it again. You will eventually get reimbursed for the double payment but it will take a few weeks. My thoughts are to put the money in a coffee can and bury it in the back yard until the next payment is due so you don't spend it and you don't run the risk of being charged more than once.
